Meet Derek Shanklin This Saturday September 27th 3:30 Performing Live.
Growing up in Massillon, Ohio, Derek Shanklin has always seen life through a unique
perspective. As the middle child of a diverse and plentiful family, Sh4nk7in had to find himself
in things such as hip-hop, basketball, writing, hiking, and more. Music has always been the way
Sh4nk7in has expressed himself. Growing up with early inspirations of Logic, Nas, Capital
Steez, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar- just to name a few. Sh4nk7in found himself heavily inspired by
the soulful, boom-bap, “bouncy”, and lyrical expertise found in all of these artists. The
motivations behind making music have always remained the same. Reflecting on some of his
early childhood struggles of substance abuse, anxiety, rejection, feelings of loneliness, and his
search for purpose in life. Beginning his musical career at the young age of 17, allows Sh4nk7in,
as well as his audience, to grow as one. You get to witness the flaws, and struggles of someone
who understands loss, emotions, and being misunderstood. Sh4nk7in takes pride in simply being
human, his sobriety, his vintage sound and aesthetic, as well as being a part of something greater
than himself. Being one of the original members of the hip-hop collective Rogue Ones. The mix
of competition and brotherhood fits right in with the traits that not only make up Sh4nk7in, but
Derek as well. Overall, pushing to inspire everybody to be the best versions of themselves, as
that’s all we can really do in this life, and using his music as the medium to do that.

From the moment he picked up a pair of drumsticks at age four to play alongside his dad, music has been the heartbeat of Sam Calavitta’s life. What began as a childhood spark grew into a lifelong passion—today, Sam is a multi-instrumentalist fluent in drums, guitar, bass, piano, and more, with a style that blends raw talent, dedication, and soul.
A graduate of Tuslaw High School (Class of 2021) and a varsity letterman award winner, Sam’s love for music has always gone hand-in-hand with his competitive spirit and drive. His talent and creativity have earned recognition on big stages, including being named runner-up in ESPN’s Battle of the Bands contest and again as runner-up in their Holiday Remix contest, competing among more than 850 attendees.
Beyond the spotlight, Sam’s greatest joy is found in his family—being a devoted father to his two children, Jenna and Greyson, and a husband to his wife Jesmond, and building a legacy rooted in love, faith, and passion. He continues to inspire and lead others in worship as a worship leader at RiverTree Fairless, specializing in Contemporary Christian Music, where he uses his gifts to guide people into moments of connection with God.
Driven by faith, family, and a relentless love of music, Sam embodies what it means to live with purpose—on the stage, in the church, and at home.
Besides focus on his ministry where he focuses on those with addictions Rob is a Warehouse manager. From past struggles and finding his life in Christ Rob knows his testimony and gift with music is more focused on helping others become saved. He is a living example of a changed life.

" I have 30 + years performing Heavy metal and Grunge Rock. I have felt called many times in life to change my direction and better serve God. Just recently I totally surrendered to pursuing the path he has laid out for me whatever that may be."

Lee is the founder of Spirit Filled Nation Ministries along with his wife Cindy and has loved music for as long as he can remember. He remembers as a child being around his family with music and singing all the time. It was a driving force for his push into music. He remembers learning to play the guitar at 19 and continues to play today. Lee was licensed in ministry over 32 years ago when he first felt the calling. He loves his family and the life the Lord has allowed him to have. I love to spend time with my best-friend Cindy. She and I through good and bad times have made a vow to be the best example of a couple we can be while serving the lord. We want to help the lost be found."
In Early 2025 they both felt the calling stronger than ever to connect lives for the Kingdom.
"I want you to know no matter where you have been, no matter what you have done, our Lord and Savior is willing to take you in. All you have to do is take the first step. Let us help you do that. In Jesus name.
We are ordinary people, sinners as we all are, trying to get into heaven. Take the first step to get there with us."

Singing has been an unspoken passion of mine since I was a little girl and now, being apart of the worship team at my church (the Branch Fellowship) I feel myself and my passion furthering my walk with Christ!
Dave currently lives in Coshocton, Ohio where he works and is raising 4 beautiful kids. He is a member of the Solid Rock Foursquare Church where he drums on the worship team and is also on the church council. His worship team has been traveling around east central Ohio worshiping and playing at other Foursquare churches. He is excited to see God's work in the local areas.
